It seems that the word is out there. For many years we've been quietly servicing and repairing amplfiers and other audio equipment with a particular emphasis on the quality pieces of yesteryear. These fabulous old amplifiers from the 1970s and 1980s were built to a standard rarely seen now. We have the best technicians in town working on our behalf to keep this gear working reliably for years to come.
We do guitar and bass amplifiers, headphones, mixers and more. Furthermore we've got a very long track record of this type of work from our fully outfitted commercial premises in Port Melbourne.
Some of the bills can be a little pricey due to the time involved but it's still in most cases well worthwhile. We can do pretty much anything to any quality piece going back as far as the 1930s.
Lately we've been doing lots of work on 1950s and 1960s radiograms. Our customers know how great these things sound and we take pride in restoring this fabulous old gear.
We don't usually accept the larger, more costly and complex valve amplifiers for service. We recommend Clarke Audio at Glen Waverley for this highly specialised work. Clarke Audio - www.clarkeaudio.com - are without a doubt the ne plus ultra in the world of the vacuum tube.
